Angle-Only Target Tracking Method for Optical Imaging Micro-/Nanosatellite Based on APSO-SSUKF

To ensure the safety of space station and improve accuracy estimated trajectory tracking noncooperative target, an optical imaging micro-/nanosatellite based on APSO-SSUKF (adaptive particle swarm optimization-spherical simplex unscented Kalman filter) is proposed to track low-orbit target using angle-only measurement. First, algorithm considers effect J2 perturbation, uses data as observation vector, spherical filter (SSUKF) reduce cost calculation UKF in tracking. Secondly, it use actual theoretical covariance innovation sequence for real-time estimation measurement noise, designing adaptive optimization (APSO) process noise SSUKF that improves Finally, simulation satellite carried out by micro-/nanosatellite, result shows that, compared with UKF, SSUKF, PSO-SSUKF, reduces root mean square error predicting position 45.44%, 35.26%, 20.94%, velocity 45.58%, 33.53%, 16.33%, respectively; angle-tracking convergence
